Description
Bruce Devitt is chief forester for a major forest company. His company logs, makes lumber and pulp and also manages forests on large areas of private land. He defends private ownership of forest land stating that the lands his company owns are freely available to the public for recreation in a network of trails, campsites etc. He says his company plants three trees for every one it cuts, that media reports of forest abuse are exaggerated and the standard of management is higher than reported.
