The Director of provincial fisheries tells the panel about dropping water levels in the interior due to a long drying trend.  Fish numbers are declining as a result.  The northern char stocks are being overfished and plans are being made to seriously study fertilization of Kootenay Lake, a story WestLand has been covering for several years.
