Westland

Land for Wildlife

Description

Most people have an appreciation for wild animals. Few of us have an understanding of what is required to maintain those animals and their habitats. Some private land is so productive for wildlife that the best option is to purchase the land for that purpose. Several organizations are profiled on how they create the funding to purchase land and the conservation covenants placed upon it. Land developers buy land for subdivisions while land conservation groups buy land for wildlife.
