Pandemic: A Population Explosion of the Mountain Pine Beetle in British Columbia

Description

This program showed that the Mountain Pine Beetle infestation is a real environmental problem, not simply an invention of forest companies to increase annual allowable cuts. It provided information to the public and the forest industry about probable causes of the infestation, efforts to mitigate damage caused by the beetle epidemic, and possible solutions to the problem.
