Description
Engraved print in black ink depicting discoveries of Captain J. Cook in the years 1778 and 1779. The title sits in the upper center inside a large semi-circular cartouche. Also notable is the inclusion of a reproduction of an engraving by John Webber entitled "A view of Snug Corner Cove in Prince William's Sound." The reproduction's title appears on this map in German. Annotations of the voyage also appear in the lower right.

Cook in the years 1778 and 1779. The unshaded parts of the coast of Asia are borrowed from Russian drawn maps, and the Russian names are improved from their original spelling
