Notes |
The original design of this map is from a British publishing house run by Joan Blaeu sometime after 1638. The likely source for this map was probably a map by John Speed, published at the beginning of the 17th century. Jan Jansson copied Blaeu's map from 1645, and was issued many times over into the 18th century. Pubished by Jansson, Jan, 1588-1664
