It is unclear which George Roe Lockwood this plate belongs to, possibly a merchant who lived in New York City and passed away in Mystic, Connecticut in 1906. The bottom left hand corner appears to have an artist's signature, although it is illegible. Possibly 'Salt' or 'Sait'.
